2011 Legislative Session

Members, just a quick note to say THANK YOU to all the members who took part in the joint MSFA-MSCOPFF Legislative Conference. The overall turnout was huge and very successful. I would also like to say Thanks to Kurt, Matt and Doug and Joe Sands from the State Council for all the hard work during an especially difficult session that we have found out to be an assault on MT Firefighters jobs and pension benefits. To date we have successfully killed 1 bill in committee and are working very hard on killing several others. We are adamantley pursuing our Presumptive Legislation and Rural FD work comp bills.
