IAFF Legislative Conference

Members, a quick briefing on the IAFF Leg Conference. Myself, Scott Moore and Jason Baker represented the MSFA along with David Van Son and Joel Fassbinder from the MSCOPFF in Washington D.C. We met with all the MT reps while we were in DC and had very productive conversations with each one. The IAFF held two days of meetings covering topics that ranged from excluding FF"s from mandatory Social Security to the attacks across the country on Collective Bargaining and Pensions. As always this was a very well attended Conference with close to 1,000 FF's in attendance.
